EYFS/Yr1 Grandparents Talk
Dear Parents/Carers,
Next term we are being historians by exploring the enquiry question; ‘Which inventions in technology are the most significant?’
We would like to explore & share how technology has changed over the years; anything from the types of toys to TVs, landline phones and mobile phones.
On the afternoon of Wednesday 10th Jan from 2:15pm, we would like to invite any willing grandparents into school to answer some pre planned questions from the children and share their knowledge on how technology has changed within their lifetimes.
We would also ask that if anyone has items of old technology, that the children could explore as artefacts, could you lend them to the school for us to share within the classes.
If grandparents would like to be involved or you have any items you feel you could lend to us, please contact your child class teacher by Friday 5th January to let us know. We really hope our families will be able to help us.
