Half-Term Covid-19 Reporting Instructions (children currently attending school)
For the attention of parents/carers of children currently attending school
Dear Parents/Carers
As we approach the half-term break, I would like to thank you and your children for your continued support in following the Covid-19 guidelines and controls, both in school and at home.
Please remember, it is very important that you continue to report to the school during the school holidays, if your child:
- develops COVID-19 symptoms and is awaiting a test
- tests positive for COVID-19
- needs to self-isolate due to contact with a positive case
Please report by email to [email protected] as soon as you become aware of any of the above.
Please email the following information:
- Your name
- Your child’s name and class
- Date of first symptoms or start date of isolation
- Date of the test
- Copy of the positive or negative test result
The email account will be monitored daily and we will undertake contact tracing as soon as we become aware, should a child develop symptoms within 48 hours of being in school and subsequently tests positive for COVID-19.
If your child, or anyone in your household, has symptoms of COVID-19 they must not return to school on Monday 22nd February. If your child has tested positive or is self-isolating you must ensure they have completed the full 10 day isolation period before returning to school.
I hope you all have a restful half-term.
Yours sincerely
Samantha Hodder
Principal
