Music Tuition (Terms 3&4) Update

Music Tuition Terms 3 & 4 2020-21 Update

Dear Parent/Carer,

We are pleased that you have agreed to your child continuing with their music tuition during terms 3 & 4 (January – April). In the booking letter, dated 10th November 2020, we explained that there may be disruption to your child’s tuition in the event of a ‘bubble’ or school closure. We were all hoping this wouldn’t be the case but unfortunately this current school closure will be in place until at least the end of term 3.

For the foreseeable future North Somerset Music Services will be switching to virtual lessons. Attached to this letter is a communication from North Somerset Music Services explaining what you need to do to begin this process.

For those children of critical workers who are currently attending school, we will be organising their virtual lessons to take place whilst they are in school and you do not need to do anything further.

As stated there will be no refunds for lessons unless there are any exceptional circumstances. If you believe this is the case, please telephone the school office on 01934 626769 to discuss the matter further. In these exceptional circumstances, refunds would only be made in the form of credit towards lessons within terms 5 & 6.

Thank you to those parents who have already paid for their child’s lessons. Unfortunately, we have a few parents who have not made payment on ParentPay. If this applies to you, payment is required immediately. Failure to pay for this terms lessons as agreed, will result in the inability to book future lessons.

North Somerset Music Services have very experienced music teachers who have been delivering virtual lessons, for both individuals and bands, for a while now and the quality of teaching is very high.

If you have any concerns or queries, please contact the school office ASAP.

With regards
