Remembrance Day

Dear Parents/Carers,
In preparation for Remembrance Day on Tuesday 11th November 2025, children will have the opportunity to purchase a Remembrance Day Poppy and merchandise, these will be brought round to classes by Year 6 pupils on the following dates:
Wednesday 5th November – EYFS/Year 1 and Year 2
Thursday 6th November – Year 3/4
Friday 7th November – Year 5/6
If you wish your child to purchase a poppy, or other Remembrance memorabilia, please provide them with a small donation; a minimum of 50p donation is recommended.
The Remembrance slap bands will be on sale in the front playground after school on Thursday 6th & Friday 7th November, for a minimum donation of £1.50.
Can we please remind parents that any slap bands purchased are not allowed to be brought into school.
We will be holding our Remembrance Day Assembly on Tuesday 11th November, which will include poetry readings and we encourage the children to wear their poppy to assembly if they have one.
