Scarlet Fever – Information & Guidance for Parents

Dear Parents/Carers

Following a small number of suspected scarlet fever cases, the attached letter from the South West UK Health Security Agency provides parents with guidance and information on Group A Streptococcus (GAS) infections, including Scarlet Fever, Strep Throat and Impetigo.

If you think your child may have a GAS infection, please keep them at home and contact your GP or NHS 111 as soon as possible.
