Dear Parent/Carer

School Closure – Free School Meal Vouchers

During the current period of National Lockdown, whilst your child is unable to attend Uphill Village Academy, we are looking to ensure you continue to receive free school meal support.

We are still awaiting further details of a National Voucher scheme, similar to the one used in the last lockdown, and expect to have more information in the next two weeks.  In the meantime, we are providing Asda shopping vouchers for all children who are eligible for benefits related free school meals and not attending school.

The first voucher is for £9.20, to cover the 4 days for the week commencing Tuesday 5 January 2021.  You will be sent a URL link via text today and will need to click on the link to access your voucher.  Please email the school office as soon as possible if you do not receive your voucher link by 5pm today.

If your child is attending school part-time, we will aggregate the number of days they are not in school and issue a weekly voucher at the appropriate time.
