Update on Industrial Action – Wednesday 15th & Thursday 16th March 2023
Dear Parents/Carers,
Further to previous communications, industrial action by members of the National Education Union (NEU) is scheduled to take place on March 15th and 16th.
I can confirm Uphill Village Academy will be open as usual on both days and all pupils are expected to attend school.
Please note, if there is any need to change our plan to open as usual, we will inform you as early as possible via email and text message.
I am sure we all hope for a swift resolution to this dispute which will satisfy all parties. Until then, we recognise and respect the right of Uphill Village Academy staff to take part in industrial action and ask that all members of our community continue to treat each other with respect.
