Welcome to Terms 3&4 in Year 5/6
Dear Parent/Carer,
Welcome back to school and we wish you a happy new year!.
We have been absolutely delighted with the way in which your children have settled back into the routines of the Year 5/6 classes this week.
Our enquiry question for this term is ‘How Does Our World Rage?’ during which we will be exploring natural disasters (earthquakes, volcanoes and floods) as well as exploring the big concepts of survival and prevention.
If any of you have a particular interest or specialism in this area, which you would like to share with us, please do get in touch because we would love to capture your enthusiasm and knowledge to inspire the children even more.
At the end of the term, we would like to invite you into school for your child to share with you their learning by talking through the work in their books. This will take place on Thursday 30th March at 2:45pm in your child’s classroom.
