Year 2 Christmas Service @ St Nicholas Church

Dear Parents/Carers,

The children and staff of Year 2 would like to invite you to their Christmas Service on Monday 8th December at 1.45pm. The service will be held at St Nicholas Church in Uphill and we would be delighted to see you there.

There will be no tickets for this event but please be aware that seating is limited to only 2 adults per child, and we ask that you kindly respect this. Where possible if you can make alternative arrangements for baby and toddler siblings, we would appreciate this. This is to allow for enough seating for our parents/cares and to keep audience noise to a minimum so the little voices of our young performers can be heard by all. Please also avoid bringing pushchairs where possible to allow for enough space in the church.

We are rehearsing at the church in the morning at 10:45am, leaving school at 10:30am and returning for lunch. We will walk the children to the church again for the performance, leaving school at approximately 1:25pm. If you are able to support us by walking with the children on either or both occasions, please contact your child’s class teacher.

We would like the children to wear a Christmas hat or hair accessory if they have one. Please bring this in a labelled bag with your child on the morning of the service.

The service is due to end at approximately 2:45pm, we will walk the children back to school and they can be collected from their classrooms at the usual time of 3:15pm. We will not be able to release any children early from the church.
