Year 2 Walk Around the Local Area
Dear Parents/Carers,
The children and staff of Year 2 will be going on a walk around Uphill Village on Wednesday 16th November as part of their project ‘Where in the world are we?’.
We will leaving school to walk around the village at approximately 9:15 am and should return around break time, approximately 10:30am.
If you are able to support us by walking with the children, please contact your child’s class teacher.
The children will need to be dressed for the weather. They should wear their school polo shirt and logo jumper as usual but can wear warm trousers, such as jogging bottoms and trainers for walking in. Every child must have a warm coat with them.
We will still go on our walk even in the event of wet weather; if it is raining please send your child to school with a waterproof coat and wellies.
