Year 2 Walk Around the Village

Dear Parents/Carers,

The children and staff of Year 2 will be going on a walk around Uphill Village as part of their enquiry question ‘Why were the Victorians Significant?’ on Thursday 13th February 2025.

The children will need to be dressed for the weather. They should wear their school polo shirt and logo jumper as usual but can wear warm trousers, such as jogging bottoms. We would like children to bring a change of footwear with them in a named bag; old trainers or wellies would be most appropriate. Every child must have a warm coat with them.

We will still go on our walk even in the event of wet weather. If it is raining, please send your child to school with a waterproof coat and wellies.

We would like some help with walking the children; if you are available to help from 9:15am to 10:30am on 13th February, please contact the office team on [email protected] or speak to your child’s class teacher.

Many thanks for your continuing support and we are looking forward to celebrating our local area with the children.
