Year 3/4 Visit to the Beach – Tuesday 12th July 2022

Dear Parents/Carers,

Unfortunately, due to the extreme weather conditions, staff absences and volunteer shortages and we have made the difficult decision to not visit the beach with our Year 3/4 children tomorrow.

We will still be learning about our local environment and taking part in the same activities we had planned for the beach but will instead be on the school field, where we will have access to shade and water.

Due to this change we will reinstate normal lunch service so your child can have a hot school meal rather than bringing in a packed lunch if they choose. Activities will continue after the lunch period.

Children will still be outside on the field for most of the day, so please still ensure they have applied sun cream before they come to school. All children MUST have a hat and a water bottle in school tomorrow.

The children will still be enjoying their ice lolly as they would have on the beach!
