Year 5/6 Primary Cross-Country Championships – Wednesday 12th October 2022 (selected children)
Dear Parent/Carers,
We are delighted to be able to invite your child to attend the above sporting event.
The event will take place at Bristol Grammar School, Failands and will be held during the school day. We will be leaving school around 9:00am with the event due to finish at 12:15pm. The estimated time for the coach to arrive back at school is 1:15pm, therefore, children will need a packed lunch to eat on their return to school.
Due to the timings of this event can children taking part in the event, please arrive at school at 8.30am to allow enough time for them to get changed and be ready to board the coach and leave for 9:00am.
We will provide sports kit for the event but children are required to have trainers and PE shorts to change into. As this is an outdoor event we recommend they wear navy or black joggers and a navy or black hoodie/sweatshirt (or school sweatshirt). No other colours should be worn.
As well as a packed lunch, please ensure they bring a water bottle.
