Year 5/6 Production – ‘Pirates of the Curry Bean’
Dear Parents/Carers,
Rehearsals are in full swing for the Year 5/6 production of ‘Pirates of the Curry Bean’ and the children are working really hard to make this a great performance. Thank you for all the work you may have already put in to help your child learn their lines.
Dates and times
The performances will take place on Wednesday 9th July and Thursday 10th July at 6pm. Children will be asked to arrive at 5.40pm on both nights. We are expecting all children to be at both performances. Everyone is working so hard to make this a successful production and all the children have a role.
Seats
Parents are invited to come along and watch their child(ren) but we do however have limited space within the hall. We can offer each family 2 seats in total. Seats can be split across performances. Please note, due to fire regulations, we can only allow a maximum of 100 individuals (this includes adults and siblings) to attend each performance.
To enable us to allocate the tickets in the fairest way we have put the event on the Parent’s Evening System https://uphill.schoolcloud.co.uk/
We would ask that wherever possible, young children are not brought to the performances. Siblings who attend Uphill Village Academy will watch the performance so don’t need to come along with parents. If you feel you really have to bring younger siblings with you, please remember they will need their own seat, even if they are on your lap or in a pushchair.
Parents can go to the site and book their tickets from 7pm on Monday 30th June. Tickets can be booked until Wednesday 2nd July 6pm. We appreciate this is a very short timescale, please book promptly. Any tickets remaining after this time will be made available to parents from the school office on a first come, first served basis.
We do not issue physical paper tickets, instead a list of attendees will be on the door.
