Year 5 Walk to Broadoak Academy to Watch ‘The Wizard of Oz’

Dear Parents/Carers,
We are delighted to inform parents that we will be walking the Year 5 children to Broadoak Academy on Wednesday 18th of March to watch their production of ‘The Wizard of Oz’.

The children will leave school immediately after the lunch service, at approximately 1:15pm, and will arrive back in school for the end of the school day. Parents are not required to give permission as this walk is covered within the local area walks policy.

We require two or three parents to help us with this event. If you are free to walk the children to and from Broadoak Academy, and remain for the performance, please let your child’s class teacher know.

We ask that children wear correct school uniform and ensure they have a warm coat with them.

We think you will agree, this will be a fantastic opportunity for the children, and they will thoroughly enjoy it.
