Year 6 Easter Homework

Dear Year 6 Parent/Carers,

Finally, the Easter holidays are here and at the end of a busy, hard-working term, the Year 6 children have certainly earned themselves this break. We hope they get lots of opportunities to relax, recharge and do the things they love.

When we return to school after the Easter holidays, the Year 6 SATs will be upon us very quickly so we have sent some maths and SPaG activities home to keep them ticking over. This way the children will not have a cold start at the beginning of next term and we can use those last two weeks to put the finishing touches to their preparation.

Please could you make sure your child has the opportunity to complete this work over the holidays as well as maintaining their regular reading.  We recommend that they do a little bit most days rather than squeezing it all in.  This way they will benefit from keeping themselves ‘tuned in’.

Please could the children bring their work back to school with them at the beginning of next term.
