Year 6 SATs Information Sharing Workshop
Dear Parents/Carers,
Firstly, thank you for all the support and encouragement you are providing your children at home which has helped them to make excellent progress over the last two terms. The children complete a set of practice SAT papers each term which helps to build their experience. Additionally, the Year 6s are now completing a weekly arithmetic paper to help them build up the speed and confidence they need.
We are excited to invite you to attend a SATS workshop with your child on Friday 27th February starting at 2:45pm in the school hall. This session will last for approximately 30 minutes, and it is an excellent opportunity to help you understand the process and ensure you feel confident supporting your children in the run-up to SATs. Please ensure you arrive for the start of the session.
During the workshop, we will provide important information on what to expect from the SATS week including:
- a 2026 timetable,
- sharing helpful tips on each subject, including our approach to teaching and the best ways to help at home.
- providing old SATs papers for you to explore with your child.
- a chance for you to ask any questions you may have.
We hope you can join us for this informative session and look forward to seeing you there. There is no need to book in advance for this workshop.
