Young Voices 2022
For our 7th year, we are attending the Birmingham Young Voices concert at the Resorts World Arena (NEC) on Tuesday 25th January 2022. This fantastic opportunity is open to children in years 4, 5 & 6 who wish to attend and we can take a maximum of 30 children.
Singing in such a large choir means you don’t have to be a great singer, as long as you sing loud and proud you’ll have a fantastic experience! We would encourage any child who wishes to experience a massive, live music concert to consider joining us.
As in previous years, the staff accompanying the children will be Mrs Hodder, Mrs Frise, Mrs Bailiss & this year we are delighted to announce Mrs Hetherington will be joining us.
We will be holding rehearsals on a Tuesday afternoon from 3.15pm-4.15pm. However, over the years we have discovered that, to fully immerse themselves in the experience, children will need to commit to learning the songs and dance moves. Please help your child with this by playing the songs as often as you can around the house or in the car.
Songs will be available from the Young Voices website or on Spotify.
As with all trips there is a cost. The cost for the registration fee and coach travel will be approximately £35 per child but this depends on how many children wish to take part. There will be an opportunity to purchase an optional meal and/or Young Voices T-shirt Bundle too at a cost of £3.00 and £12.00 respectively, however these are optional purchases. Financial assistance will be available to children who qualify for free school meals or pupil premium funding.
Be aware, although this is a brilliant day and the experience of a lifetime, it is a very long day, so please make sure your child is prepared for this. We leave school at 11.30am and return to school around midnight.

No money is required at this time, payments will be charged via ParentPay dependant on your meal & t-shirt order options. A further letter will follow once we know who wishes to attend.
