Yr 5/6 Football Tournament (selected children)
Dear Parent/Carers,
We are delighted to be able to invite your child to attend the above sporting event.
The event will take place at Bristol Grammar School, Failands and will be held during the school day. We will be leaving school around 9:00am with the event due to finish at 12:30pm. The estimated time for the coach to arrive back at school is 1:15pm, therefore, children will need a packed lunch to eat on their return to school.
Due to the timings of this event can children taking part, please arrive at school promptly at 8.35am to allow enough time for them to get changed and be ready to board the coach and leave for 9:00am. Children should arrive at school wearing normal school uniform.
We will provide football kit for the event but children are required to have either studded football boots (not astro turf blades) or trainers with a proper grip on the sole. Flat bottomed trainers are not permitted. If your child has shin pads can they bring them on the day. However, they are not essential as we do have shin pads in school.
As this is an outdoor event, we recommend children bring navy or black joggers and a navy or black hoodie/sweatshirt (or school sweatshirt) into school to wear over their football kit. No other colours should be worn. They must have a coat with them.
As well as a packed lunch, please ensure they bring a water bottle.
