Yr 5/6 Presentation of Learning. December 2023
Dear Parents/Carers,
In Year 5/6 this autumn term we have been investigating the enquiry question ‘How did settlements stem from the Stone Age?’
To present to you our learning, we would like to invite you to come into school on Tuesday 5th December from 2:30pm-3:00pm to watch our presentation of learning from all three classes in Year 5/6.
We will be sharing our knowledge of the Stone Age as historians and our work based on ‘Wolf Brother’ by Michelle Paver, as writers.
As this is a seated presentation for all three classes, which will involve 90 children, we need to ask parents to book a place to watch the presentation. We have capacity of 100 seats and will limit bookings to one adult per child. However, due to the timings, we are not expecting a full house and will release any additional ‘tickets’ if available after the initial booking window closes.
Please visit https://uphill.schoolcloud.co.uk to reserve your seat. Booking closes on Monday at 10:00am. There is a place to request an additional ‘ticket’ if required and we will confirm this by text.
Those arriving on the day without reserving a ticket will be asked to wait until those with reservations have entered and will only be admitted if enough space is available. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause but we are sure parents will understand our need to comply with fire regulations.
We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday.
With regards
Year 5/6 team
