Yr5/6 CLF Girls Rugby Event with Red Roses
Dear Parent/Carers,
We are delighted to be able to invite your child to attend the above sporting event. This is a friendly, non-competitive event for the girls to learn about & to appreciate the game of rugby. We are very excited that the event will be attended by some of the England Red Roses squad. The professional players will support throughout the festival, coaching & refereeing, and will be available for photos and Q&A.
The event will take place at Kingswood RFC in Bristol. We will be leaving school around 10:00am with the event due to finish at 2:30pm. The estimated time for the coach to arrive back at school is 3:45pm. We will provide an estimated time of arrival text to parents once the coach begins its homeward journey to give an accurate arrival time based on the traffic at the time.
Children will need a packed lunch to eat during the day and have a refillable water bottle.
Children participating should arrive at school wearing their P.E kit of navy or black shorts & white T-shirt. They will need to wear sturdy trainers. As this is an outdoor event, we recommend they wear navy or black joggers and a navy or black hoodie/sweatshirt (or school sweatshirt). No other colours should be worn.
