History comes alive during SS Great Britain visit

Year 2 pupils from Uphill Village Academy witness maritime history when they embarked on a visit to the iconic SS Great Britain.

Pupils were transported back in time to experience firsthand the realities of life both as workers and passengers aboard the legendary vessel.

They also had the unique opportunity to don authentic Victorian clothes and bring the pages of history to life.
