Pupils at Uphill enjoy singing workshop

Year 5 pupils at Uphill Village Academy were treated to an exciting visit from a choral singing coach this week.

The session formed part of the children’s preparations for their upcoming performance at the Winter Gardens in Weston-super-Mare this December.

During the workshop, the coach guided pupils through a selection of songs they will perform at the event, helping them develop confidence, vocal technique, and a shared sense of enthusiasm for the concert.

Staff described the atmosphere as lively, positive, and highly engaging.

A spokesperson said: “The workshop was a fantastic opportunity for our pupils to learn from an expert and to experience the joy of singing together.

“It has really set them on the right track for their Winter Gardens performance, and the children came away buzzing with excitement.”
