Pupils at Uphill Village Academy embrace World Book Day

Pupils at Uphill Village Academy fully embraced the spirit of World Book Day with a creative and engaging activity that brought stories to life.

As part of the celebrations, pupils were tasked with reading a book and crafting a mask inspired by their chosen story.

From cats to rabbits and beyond, their artistic talents were on full display as they created extraordinary masks to represent their favorite books.

This activity is just one of many taking place at Uphill Village Academy as part of this wonderful educational experience.

Principal Sam Hodder said: “World Book Day is all about fostering a love for reading, and it was wonderful to see our children so engaged and excited to showcase their creativity.”
