Pupils show percussive skills with assembly performance

Pupils at Uphill Village Academy showcased their musical talents during a lively and engaging assembly performance this week.

Using percussion instruments to create a strong, unified rhythm, pupils performed along to the iconic We Will Rock You by Queen. The powerful beat helped keep the entire assembly in time, encouraging enthusiastic participation from singers across the school.

The performance highlighted pupils impressive concentration, teamwork, and musical ability, as well as their growing confidence with percussion. Their coordinated effort ensured the singing remained perfectly in sync, creating an uplifting and memorable experience for everyone involved.

A spokesperson for the academy said: “We are incredibly proud of our pupils for the focus, enthusiasm and teamwork they demonstrated during this performance.

“Music plays an important role in bringing our school community together, and this was a wonderful example of pupils supporting one another to create something special.”
