Pupils visit Roman fortress

Year 5 and Year 6 pupils from Uphill Village Academy embarked on an unforgettable educational trip to Caerleon, immersing themselves in the rich history of the ancient Romans.

The highlight of the day was the exploration of the impressive remains of a Roman fortress, where the pupils had the unique opportunity to step back in time.

A Roman workshop further enriched the experience, allowing the pupils to actively engage in various hands-on activities that brought their classroom learning to life.
