Uphill celebrates success at multi-skills festival

Congratulations to Uphill Academy’s Key Stage 1 pupils who took part in a multi-skills festival this week.

Competing alongside other schools across North Somerset, pupils worked brilliantly, demonstrating skill, teamwork and dedication in every discipline they took part in.

The young athletes represented the academy with pride as they took on a range of activities including curling, skittles, hurdles and a tense penalty shootout, all against strong opposition.

A spokesperson for the academy said: “We are incredibly proud of our pupils.

“Their enthusiasm, determination and willingness to support one another truly shone throughout the festival.

“They represented Uphill Academy with maturity beyond their years, and we couldn’t be more delighted with their achievements.”
