Uphill pupils take on musical challenge
Uphill Village Academy Year 3 and 4 pupils have been honing their musical skills by learning a brand-new song as part of their music curriculum.
Under the guidance of their teachers, pupils have been delving into the basics of music theory, focusing on studying musical notes and the pentatonic scale
As part of their hands-on learning, pupils had the opportunity to explore the pentatonic scale further by playing notes on glockenspiels to accompany the song they have been practicing.
A spokesperson said: “This engaging approach not only helps them understand the structure of music but, also introduces them to the joys of playing a musical instrument.
“Music education remains an integral part of Uphill Village Academy’s dedication to providing a well-rounded and enriching experience for all its students.”
