Uphill Village Academy pupils explore the science of temperature
Young scientists in Year 2 at Uphill Village Academy learned all about temperature and its impacts on the world around us.
Pupils explored how temperature is measured and what it tells us about our environment.
Throughout the lesson, pupils were introduced to the concept of degrees Celsius and how it is used to measure temperature.
They had great fun engaging in hands-on activities, using thermometers to observe and measure a range of temperatures in different settings.
A spokesperson said: “This interactive approach to learning helped the pupils grasp the science behind how thermometers work, reinforcing their understanding of key concepts in a fun and engaging way.
“The experience not only ignited their curiosity about the world around them but also encouraged critical thinking and scientific observation skills.”
