Young inventors in action at Uphill Village Academy
Pupils in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) at Uphill Village Academy have been busy building, creating, and collaborating this week as they explored the world of vehicles using outdoor resources.
Armed with crates, blocks, bricks, and wheels, pupils transformed their play area into a bustling hub of imagination and engineering.
Through teamwork and hands-on learning, the young inventors constructed their own vehicle creations, discovering how different parts work together and testing their designs in action.
A spokesperson for the academy said: “It’s been wonderful to see our EYFS pupils so engaged and enthusiastic.
“Activities like this encourage creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking – all essential skills for young learners.
“Their inventions were fantastic and showcased real innovation and problem-solving.”
