Wrap-Around Care Bookings from September 2025
Dear Parents and Carers,
As you are aware we have launched our new parent portal ‘MyChildAtSchool’ (MCAS).
From 1st August 2025, all payments and club bookings, including wrap-around care clubs, will move to MCAS and we will no longer use School Cloud.

Our wrap-around care provision continues to be increasingly popular and we are hoping the move to MCAS will make the booking process easier for parents, with both bookings and payments all being in one system, and offer parents the opportunity to book a little further in advance. However, the move will mean that all bookings will require full payment to be made at the time of the booking. You will not be able to book places without a sufficient credit balance available in your account.
We understand the switch from paying in arrears to paying at the time of booking will have a financial impact on some parents and, to minimise the impact of this change, we have made use of the August ‘payment break’ to align payments with booking dates and prevent the need to pay double in one month.
These changes will also impact parents/carers who pay for their wrap-around care with childcare vouchers, as voucher payments will need to be credited to your child’s MCAS account before you can make a booking. Please also bear in mind there is a delay between drawing a voucher and the money arriving in our bank account, and we can only credit your account once the money has been received. We recommend parents begin to draw-down additional vouchers to help move towards payment in advance and use the holiday period to increase their balances.
From Term 2 (starting 3rd November), we are planning to open bookings on a termly basis, giving parents the opportunity to secure their places further in advance, however, this will necessitate paying for up to 6 weeks at a time.
We have outlined the proposed timetable for bookings and payments from September to December 2025 in the table at the bottom of this letter. Please read this carefully.
